Our Story
The AARP Family Caregiving Team and Public Private Strategies (PPS) partnered to create this site to provide resources and guidance to millions of business owners across the United States. Both of our organizations know firsthand the challenges employee-caregivers and their employers face. We hope that this site is a useful tool and will help create thousands of caregiver-friendly workplaces. See below for more information about each organization.
AARP
is the nation’s largest nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to empowering people 50 and older to choose how they live as they age.
Public Private Strategies
(PPS) creates opportunities where the public and private sectors meet. We bring together diverse allies including foundations, associations, corporations, small businesses, and entrepreneurs to solve pressing societal challenges. By harnessing the power of the private sector, we build coalitions, activate campaigns, and create strategic partnerships to drive desired policy and market outcomes.
